Forthcoming Events


The Sixth Annual AfD / EUDN Conference on the topic "Demand pressure on natural resources : what public policies ?" will be held in Paris on NOVEMBER 12th, 2008. Speakers who have accepted to participate include Jared Diamond (Professor, University of California, Los Angeles), Jean-Marie Baland (Professor, University of Namur), Michael Carter (Professor, University of Wisconsin) and, Alan Gelb (World Bank, Research Department). On this occasion, around 700 academics and development practitioners from both the North and the South will gather to exchange views on these critical issues. The conference is aimed at promoting a constructive dialogue between academic research and operational expertise in order to explore lessons and perspectives for ODA policies.
The Two-day Scientific EUDN Conference (program) will be held in Paris on NOVEMBER 13-14, 2008. It is conceived as a restricted meeting in the cause of which members of EUDN present their recent papers to each other. (Call for paper)
